Responding to the accelerating globalization of business, and in order to expand the business in growing overseas markets, in April 2002 this company took a bold new step and became an independent subsidiary from Kokusai Pulp & Paper Co., Ltd.
In the world market traditionally dominated by Japanese, European and American paper manufacturers, recent years have seen the emergence of Asian competitors - most notably China, and each year sees the diversification of suppliers.

 |
Furthermore, in the Japanese market, aggressive sales of imported paper from Asian manufacturers increase the intensity of competition year on year, and the globalization of the market continues steadily.
Amidst these greatly changing conditions, in order for our company and overseas subsidiaries to continue to grow into the future, from our 5 overseas corporations, 16 branches and offices and using our half century of experience, and history of international business, we will work to further enrich our global network, aiming to be an international operation that all of our customers can rely on as a business partner. |
